I am the director of the Baxter Branch Library. I am a library advocate and community leader. I believe that everyone deserves respect and has the right to knowledge and I will do my best to see they get it. I will find ways to be out in the community more, so that I can tell others about the library. I will also make sure that I listen to what people want in a library and do my best to make it happen.
I am reminded by reading your post that listening is really the key to making your library the best. Sometimes I forget the simple things that are the most important. I have to listen and then get out in my community and take action!
